From my first paper route in 4th grade to serving in the U.S. military through starting and building two successful businesses, my journey has been one of hard work and commitment. My wife and I have experienced the ups and downs of financial uncertainty due to company restructurings, downsizings, management changes, companies being sold, etc. These changes blindsided us and often left us wondering where do we go from here? After I started and built two successful businesses there was still that nagging thought of our future retirement and wondering if we would ever “have enough” to retire comfortably and maintain the lifestyle we currently enjoy.

The fear of living on a fixed income, shopping at the grocery and not buying what we want, to not go on vacation a couple of times a year, to not go out and eat with friends, to not afford a decent car, to not buy nice Christmas gifts for my family is a reality I refuse to accept after a lifetime of hard work and sacrifice!
